Through Microsoft's BizSpark program, HubStor has partnered with Microsoft, the Redmond-based software giant, to make the cloud more attractive for enterprise archiving of unstructured data workloads such as file system storage, legacy email and PSTs, genomic research, video surveillance, and medical imaging.
"BizSpark jump starts us as we go all-in to product development in Microsoft Azure," says Greg Campbell, CTO, HubStor. "HubStor is a born-in-the-cloud archive solution, so we are excited about leveraging the benefits of the program and Microsoft's cloud platform."
HubStor is developing an enterprise-grade data-aware cloud archiving solution, which is planned exclusively on Microsoft Azure. The company expects to begin onboarding customers in early 2016.
